JUDGES NEEDED FOR DISTRICTS PLEASE HELP!!!

In order to make the upcoming district conference run smoothly we need your help. Right now we are just short of our ideal number of judges.

Please print off or forward the above attachments to anyone you know who would like to assist us. They do not need to know anything about DECA for everything will be explained to them at districts. The only requirement is that they have been out of high school for at least 3 years.

DECA COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

RHS DECA needs at least 8 volunteers to ring the bells at the Rosemount Cub on Monday, December 22. We need four volunteers to ring from 12:30 to 2:30 and four volunteers to ring from 2:30 to 4:30. email Emily back as soon as possible if you would like to help out.

DECA WEEKLY NEWS 12/9/08

Districts Update

Districts are Friday January 9.  There are over 590 students competing you need to make sure you are prepared.  STOP BY AND SEE ME BEFORE WINTER BREAK IN ORDER TO PREPARE FOR YOUR EVENT.

 

Stop by room 126 and pick up your District Packet This will explain your events completely

 

Sub Districts December 20 – This is a dress rehearsal for districts.  You need to make sure you attend if you want to have a chance to advance to state.  Even if you have another conflict coming to sub districts for a short period of time will help tremendously

 

DECA MEETING THIS FRIDAY – We will answer all of your questions

 

Bring your parents to help judge at sub districts.   Don’t worry we will make sure that they do not judge your event. 

 

DECA week is coming up – Stop by room 126 to sign up for an eating contest, snow softball game, etc…

 

If you are signed up for a C event – You need to stop by room 126 between now and next Friday to get your packet.  I am available to assist before school as early as 6:30 AM and as late as you need after school.  Stop by and set up a date today

 

Concession Stand Help - I need help working the concession stands, stop by room 126 to sign up.  Free Food, Free admission to the game and fun, fun. 

 

It is never too early to start thinking about what business classes you are going to take next year.  Stop by and visit with your business teacher about your options.
